Weight

Weight determines how many items a person can carry. Every character starts with 8 weight capacity. Item cards will specify how much the item weighs. If an item is listed as P it counts as partial, meaning it does not weigh if you have a physrep for it; if you do not have a physrep for a partial weight item, you will add 1 weight for every 3 partial items you have.

Armor Weight Restrictions

There are 4 armor weight classes: light, medium, heavy, and ultra heavy. Each class corresponds to a certain weight and has its own mobility restrictions given below. Additionally, a player can only carry one unequipped suit of armor.

Light Armor - 1-2 weight - No movement restrictions.

Medium Armor - 3-4 weight - No movement restrictions in combat. Physically demanding tasks outside of combat, such as climbing or crawling in tight spaces, take more time.

Heavy Armor - 5-6 weight - Player cannot sprint, and can only jump small distances in combat. Physically demanding tasks outside of combat, such as climbing, crawling in tight spaces, etc. are labored, taking much more time than they would normally.

Ultra-Heavy Armor - 7+ weight - Player can only walk in combat and takes 5 seconds to stand up from prone without help. Physically demanding tasks such as climbing, crawling, etc. are impossible. A player must have prowess R3 to wear ultra-heavy armor.
