Here you can find information about our junior events, which are for adventurers ages 8-17. This includes upcoming event dates, pricing, and registration information.

Upcoming Junior Events

General Junior Event Information

TIME: 9 am Saturday morning - 4 pm Sunday afternoon

 

LOCATION: 5014 Gibbs Rd, Kansas City, KS 66106

 

REGISTRATION:

• 8-13 years old - $95 admission. Register and complete the waiver online via the specific event link above.
• 14-17 years old - $65 admission. Register and complete the waiver online via the specific event link above.
• Please pay ahead online or bring payment in cash or check made payable to Claritas LLC.
• Sign-in begins at 9am Saturday morning, and the game will begin at 10am.
• On Sunday, game-off and cleanup begin at 3pm for a 4pm departure.

 

DISCOUNTS:

• $10 Early bird discount - Register by the Friday a week before the event at midnight.
• $10 Late arrival discount - Arriving after 3pm? We understand that life is busy. Join us when you can!
• $35 First-time discount - Register as a first-time attendee! We’ll also provide a free weapon rental.

 

ROOM & BOARD:

• Players are encouraged to bring their own tents and stay the night on the property in a designated tenting area.
• There will be a fire available to cook your food. All players are responsible for bringing their own food and drinking water.

 

NPC:

• To become a Certified NPC for non-parent adults who want to volunteer for junior events. Certified NPCs must:
  • Fund and pass a GM-approved background check
  • Sign the Code of Conduct and waiver
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Attend at least 5 senior events (including the quarterly day events) in a year (approximately 50%)
  • Have attended Claritas events for 18 months with approximately 50% attendance in the past year
• Claritas LLC reserves the right to refuse Certified NPC status to any person even if they meet these qualifications. Certified NPCs can have their status revoked at any time.
• Parents who want to NPC at junior events do not need to meet the attendance requirements that Certified NPCs are expected to meet, but they must:
  • Fund and pass a GM-approved background check
  • Sign the Code of Conduct and waiver
  • Have a child attending the event

• Junior adventurers can volunteer to NPC at junior events, but we encourage them to play as their own player characters instead.
• Senior adventurers can volunteer to NPC at junior events with GM approval.
